Job Title – Electrical Estimator/Electrical Procurement Coordinator

Location – Montgomery, AL (corporate office)

What You Will Do

  • Develop an understanding of scope from review of project documents, and then estimate, plan, purchase, coordinate, and manage all aspects of pre-construction activities, for the delivery of electrical materials & equipment on large international projects

  • Ultimately responsible for ensuring the successful execution of all related pre-construction actions, in terms of project schedule and budget

  • Work closely with the Senior Estimator / Coordinator, and Project Technical Coordinator.

  • Collaborate closely with project installation teams to coordinate material installations and provide technical support and guidance

  • Working Conditions – Full-time, office setting with walking, standing, sitting, keyboarding, writing and reading, Some travel required; Work while traveling in non-controlled environments may be required. Some light lifting may be required (50 lbs)

What We Expect

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities – Must be able to obtain a Department of State Secret Security Clearance. Requires strong written and verbal communication skills, as well as strong organizational & time management skills. Must be able to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics, technical specifications / codes, and other related contract documents. Must be able to effectively manage cost budgets and adhere to a schedule. Must have strong Microsoft Office suite knowledge / skills. Must be able to communicate and work with multinational and multi-disciplined employees.

Education / Experience - Minimum high school diploma/GED, and five to ten years of electrical construction installation / management experience required. Four-year degree in building science, construction management or engineering and five years construction management experience preferred. Current clearance, or the ability to obtain a Department of Defense minimum secret security clearance required.

While the salary range is typically between $69,900 - $104,900 annually, applicants are encouraged to share compensation expectations as part of the application process. Caddell honors prior experience, education, and qualifications of applicants in order to make attractive and competitive offers.
