Shee Atika Government Services ANR - Senior Java Developer (ASBS) in Montgomery, Alabama

Alaska Northstar Resources (ANR) is searching for a qualified Senior Java Developer to join our team in support of an Army Program - Army Selection Board System (ASBS). This is a remote role responsible for the development and implementation for updates to existing software.

  • The ideal candidate will be responsible for (but not limited to) development tasks and peer review for the ASBS Project.
  • This position will focus on front end development with adherence to styles and attention to detail.
  • They must be an excellent communicator, problem solver, and actively independent thinker.
  • The selected candidate must be able to work as part of a team and be willing to mentor others.

Requirements

Candidate Minimum Required Skills

Candidatemust be a US Citizen

Candidatemust have a DoD Secret Clearance

Candidatemust have CompTIA Security+ or other applicable 8570 IAT Level II certification

Candidate must have a bachelor's degree in computer science or related field of study

Candidate must have 5+ years experience with the following:

  • Java Development
  • Development in an Agile Environment
  • Angular/React software development.
  • STIG, Cybersecurity
  • AWS Cloud

Preferred Skills

  • Problem solving skills
  • Willingness to mentor others
  • Spring Boot, Amazon Web Services, JBOSS, Angular, Rest Services, GraphQL.

The pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equit , alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
