Shee Atika Government Services ANR - Project Manager - AISG in Montgomery, Alabama

Description

Alaska Northstar Resources, LLC. (ANR) is seeking a qualified Project Manager to provide support for a new long-term program. The position is remote, but a qualified candidate in the Kettering, OH area is preferred. The successful Project Manager will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

  • Planning, directing, controlling, organizing, and coordinating the work activity of personnel involved in all aspects of the contract.
  • Implementing a quality assurance program to ensure services and products conform to applicable standards.
  • Formulating statements of both management and technical problems.
  • Evaluating proposed computer systems to determine technical feasibility, implementation costs, operation costs, and functional adequacy.
  • Brief senior management on project milestones, baselines, and costs.
  • Work within Agile SDLC framework to include managing work activity in two- to three-week sprints, participating in daily scrums, conducting sprint retrospective sessions, and utilizing sprint tracking software to communicate work activity to stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Candidate must be a US Citizen
  • Candidate must be eligible to obtain and maintain common access card (CAC)
  • Candidate must possess at least 8 years' experience in project management, managing software engineering and development projects.
  • Experience in Agile project management via Scrum Agile processes.
  • Ability to manage teams in diverse work environments.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Desired Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

  • PMP Certified
  • Agile Certified
  • Residing in the Kettering, OH area
  • Experience working within the Agile SDLC Framework.
  • Experience with US Air Force IT Projects.
  • Experience in managing workforce based on changing requirements.
  • Experience in managing projects undergoing cloud transformation.
  • Bachelor's degree.

The pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
