BRIMHALL INDUSTRIAL MACHINE SERVICE INC Machinist in MONTE VISTA, Colorado

JOB TITLE: Machinist

MUSTS: Must be at least 18 years old. Must have a valid Colorado Driver's License and Vehicle Insurance. Must be able to pass a background check and pre-employment drug testing. Must have basic working knowledge of lathe and mill operation. Must be a team player and able to work on projects with other people. Must be safety conscious and have a high degree of attention to detail while understanding the impact on overall results. Must be self-motivating and willing to work 40+ hours per week as the job demands.

SKILLS: Superior organization skills. Able to measure accurately using micrometers, calipers, rulers and other devices. Required to be proficient in mathematics and have strong analytical, numerical and reasoning abilities. Horizontal boring mill, and/or CNC experience a plus.

DUTIES: Responsible for participating in multidisciplinary teams to recondition industrial equipment through disassembly, cleaning, inspection, metal parts fabrication, part refurbishment, and assembly activities in accordance with the company's Quality Management System.

WAGES: $20-$25/hour (negotiable depending on experience). Paid Bi-weekly

BENEFITS: Vacation, Life and other benefits available after 90 days. Benefits will be discussed with the employer.

JOB TO START: As soon as a qualified applicant is hired.

DURATION: This is a permanent position.

SHIFT: This is a full-time job of 40 hours per week. Will work Monday through Friday between the hours of 7:30AM and 4:00PM, with overtime hours during peak shop load

JOB SITE: Monte Vista, Colorado, Rio Grande County
