Estate Sale Team Member:

Job Description:

  • Estate sale team member: This position focuses on preparing a household for an online auction or a physical estate sale. Household items will be sorted for sale, donation, or disposal. For an online auction household items will be aggregated into lots, photographed, and uploaded to the auction website with a detailed description. For estate sales items will be priced and tastefully displayed on tables. Members will act as sales persons on the day of the sale or as a cashier

  • Move team member: This position focuses on preparing a house for a move. Items that are to be moved will be professionally packed to international standards (training provided). The packed items will be picked up and delivered to the new home by a moving company and then the team will unpack the items and put them away in the new home

    Qualifications & Skills:

  • For the estate team: Previous estate sale or antique sales experience preferred.

  • For online auctions, Apple iPad familiarity and photography experience preferred.

  • For the move team: No physical limitations to bending and lifting, a willingness to learn.

    Physical/Environmental Requirements:

  • Frequent walking and/or standing

  • Stamina to lift heavy items (if necessary) repeatedly

  • Willing to get your hands dirty!
