Fairfax Behavioral Health is seeking a licensed Substance Use Disorder Professional. This position is an integral part of the clinical care team in our inpatient program at our Monroe location.

Position Summary

The Substance Use Disorder Professional completes Substance Use evaluations (American Society of Addiction Medicine, ASAM assessment), conducts recovery-oriented group therapy, supervises SUDPTs, and provides training to case managers on the proper administration of an ASAM evaluation. Utilizes evidence based practice in assisting patients achieve their optimal level of mental and emotional health with a focus on chemical dependency issues.

Wage Range:

Minimum: $26.00/hour

Maximum: $35.75/hour

Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university in Social Work or clinical related mental health field and SUDP Certification.

  • Masters degree preferred.

Experience:

  • Minimum of one years' experience working as a Substance Use Disorder Professional or Chemical Dependency Professional in a DBHR certified agency.

  • Direct clinical experience in the treatment of chemically dependent patients.

  • Minimum of one-year experience in an inpatient or residential setting.

  • Skills and experience in community relations and group presentation.

  • Prior experience in dealing effectively with courts, probation departments, and other agencies and referral sources.

  • Ability to supervise other SUDPs.

  • Demonstrated knowledge of Mental Health treatment.
