Job Description:

We are looking for an Accounts Receivable Coordinator to join our amazing Finance Team! The AR Coordinator performs a variety of tasks related to maintaining the accounts receivable including communicating and interacting with customers, vendors and co-workers ensuring questions are answered accurately and in a timely manner.

Other duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Accumulates, sorts, and files receivable documentation to facilitate research and reconciliation. Verify adjustments to invoices made at time of delivery, process collections and/or adjustments as needed.

  • Record out of town bank deposits, transfers, voids, non-sufficient funds (NSF) checks and associated activity.

  • Assist customers, sales representatives and internal staff with payments, credits, invoices, balances due and adjustments

  • Maintain accurate records of accounts receivable including filing and statements.

  • Works to minimize bad debt risk while maximizing A/R collections.

  • Ensure payment terms are adhered to and initiate collection procedures to further reduce past dues.

  • Responsible for researching and analyzing customer accounts to resolve A/R issues

  • Maintain excellent customer service relations through timely and accurate communication, both internally and externally.

  • Back up other accounting or administrative support staff, as needed.

  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
