ASSA ABLOY Entrance Systems, Pedestrian Door Solutions is considering candidates for an Order Entry role.

ASSA ABLOY Entrance Systems is a leading supplier of entrance automation solutions for efficient flow of goods and people. We offer complete pedestrian, industrial and high-performance door solutions. We provide a wide number of products and services to a global clientele in more than 100 countries. ASSA ABLOY Entrance Systems is a division within ASSA ABLOY.

OBJECTIVES:

  • Learn details of AAES organization and procedures.

  • Provide quick turnaround for District, Distributor, Canada & Shared Services orders and requests

  • Handle high volume accurately

  • Obtain knowledge of AAES PDS Equipment to assist in order entry

  • Cross-train in multiple areas of the department such as invoicing, paint matching, scheduling, and quality complaints orders.

    RESPONSIBILITES

  • Field requests for job expedites and preferred scheduling slots

  • Coordinate the use of expedite slots with production

  • Work with Production Group Leaders to provide prompt responses

  • Process branch bookings in iSAC and enter equipment orders for Districts, Distributors & Canada in Baan

  • Review in detail that all booking and change order docs are complete

  • Work with branch operations to manage and release orders

  • Coordinate job scheduling

  • Work with the Custom Committee to ensure jobs are entered correctly

  • Enter class 3 orders for extrusions related to projects already shipped

  • Act as the liaison between production and sales

    ACADEMIC PROFILE:

  • High school diploma (required)

  • Community college degree (preferred)

  • Undergraduate degree (helpful, but not required)

    EXPERIENCE PROFILE:

  • Two – five years working in an office environment

  • Working in a pressure field environment

  • Working as a team

  • Previous customer service experience

  • Data entry experience

    OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

  • Computer ability: Word, Excel, PowerPoint

  • Accurate Typing Skills
