Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Hardness testing of heat-treated parts, utilizing the superficial, standard Rockwell, and Microhardness testing machines.
  • Check parts for total and effective case depths.
  • Prepare samples for microscope review.

Qualifications, Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Quality Testing - a plus
  • Knowledge of Microscopes - a plus
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
  • Basic Skills in Microsoft Word and Excel.
