Envirosmart, Inc. DBA ES Integrated Diesel Mechanic in Moncks Corner, South Carolina

Summary/Objective

EnviroSmart is seeking qualified diesel mechanic to support the fleet maintenance in Charleston, South Carolina. Will cross train to assist in other field areas of the company. Performance is measured for Safety, Quality, and Value delivered to the project and company.

Essential Functions

  • Practice Safety, Quality, and Value for all industrial service-related project performance activities

  • Handles truck and trailer work

  • Interact with Manager and office staff daily to ensure correct parts are ordered in a timely manner

  • Trouble shooting and having high efficiency in diagnostic tools

  • Fill out all work orders and paperwork completely and correctly

  • Cleans tools and working area

  • Observing all Federal, State, Local and Company safety rules and regulations in the performance of duties

  • All around general technicians

  • Heavy duty mechanic knowledge and experience is preferred

  • Diesel Mechanic experience

  • State inspection license a plus

  • Contribute to a positive work environment

  • Valid drivers license

  • Performs other routine duties

    Required Eligibility Qualifications

  • 3+ Years Experience as diesel mechanic

  • High School diploma or equivalent

  • Follow instructions for operating equipment and keeping records

  • Clean driving record and a valid state motor vehicle operator's license (Required)

  • Must be able to pass a background check

    Physical Demands

    Must be able to:

  • The employee is frequently required to move about the shop and warehouse

  • Ascend or work atop and position self under trucks, machinery and various other places.

  • Employee is regularly required to communicate or exchange information. Frequently lift up to 50 pounds and adjust body position to bend, stoop, stand, walk, turn, pivot, and stand for long periods of time

  • Able to physically control industrial hydro blasting and vacuum equipment

  • Able to carry industrial hoses (up to 60 lbs) up and down multiple flights of stairs

  • Ability to work in varying (extreme) temperatures, depending upon season

  • Must complete all pre and post training including safety, new hire, and regulatory

    Hours of Work

  • Typical week will consist of Monday – Friday, 8-10 hours per day

    Travel

  • Must have reliable transportation to be able to commute to job site each day.
