Salary: $21.90 hour

Schedule: Shift will either be a 4/3 split on one of the following shifts:

  • Sun-Wed: 5am-5pm

  • Thu-Sat: 5am-5pm

What’s a typical day as a Logistics Specialist? You’ll be:

• Executing daily logistics transactional tasks through efficient planning of inventory, shipments, and tendering of loads to carriers using various systems.

• Monitoring inventory levels and bottling line attainment to support just-in-time (JIT) throttling of components to production lines.

• Planning trucking needs and capacity based on customer delivery requirements.

• Proactively solving problems, resolving carrier issues, and escalating when necessary.

• Utilizing various systems, such as OTM, Swisslog, Softeon, C3 Reservations/Dock Scheduler, and SAP, to execute daily tasks.

• Checking in and checking out carriers utilizing the appointment system.

• Executing transactions based on customer requirements in the Warehouse Management System.

• Completing and distributing all necessary shipping documentation accurately and in compliance with protocols.

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:

• Have a high school diploma or state-issued equivalency certificate and 2 years of experience in operations, transportation, truck dispatching, warehousing, or customer service.

• Are willing to work twelve-hour shifts, including day or night shifts, as required.

• Have experience with multitasking and time management.

• Are skilled in Excel, Outlook, Access Database, Microsoft Word, and PowerPoint.
