Creative Traffic Manager

PRIMARY PURPOSE: To work with marcomm team members and the marcomm creative team to properly allocate and plan creative resources to ensure delivery timelines are met.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Meet with marcomm team members to learn about the status of existing projects, and details about new projects coming into the creative team and provide estimated availability for creative resources.

  • Maintain a pipeline of all creative projects along with due dates and assigned resource(s).

  • Assign new creative projects to designers and define due dates based on priorities.

  • Reschedule projects based on new or changing priorities and communicate to appropriate stakeholders.

  • Report to management about the current workflow, and communicate any possible issues with too much, or too little, work coming into each designer.

  • Provide concise, accurate and deadline-driven information to appropriate marcomm stakeholders for a clear understanding of creative resource availability and expected delivery timelines.

  • Understand people and instinctively know when to push and when to let things simmer in order to keep resources on track.

ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

  • Supports the organization's quality program(s).

  • Travels as required.

QUALIFICATIONS

Experience

  • Five (5) years of marketing or project management experience required or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Skills & Knowledge

  • Ability to know instinctively when to push and when to let things simmer as they work to keep resources on track.

  • The ability to write clearly, concisely, quickly, and effectively.

  • Highly PC literate, including Microsoft Office products and general online project management software (Wrike).

  • Strong project management skills

  • Strong organizational skills

  • Excellent interpersonal and diplomacy skills

  • Ability to manage multiple and changing priorities

  • Ability to meet or exceed Performance Competencies

WORK ENVIRONMENT

  • When applicable and appropriate, consideration will be given to reasonable accommodations.

  • Mental: Clear and conceptual thinking ability; excellent judgment, troubleshooting, problem solving, analysis, and discretion; ability to handle work-related stress; ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously; and ability to meet deadlines

  • Physical: Computer keyboarding, travel as required

  • Auditory/Visual: Hearing, vision and talking
