S&K Logistics Services Revegetation Technician in Moab, Utah

This is a limited duration position that supports revegetation and general landscaping activities for a portion of the Moab UMTRA Project site located in Moab, Utah, for a limited duration through October.

Transplanting shrubs, trees, and grasses. Routine watering of vegetation.

Control of noxious, invasive weeks through the application of herbicides and pesticides.

Sprinkler system maintenance.

Job Requirements:

Education: High school diploma or equivalent

Experience: Two years general landscaping experience is preferred. Background in plumbing or sprinkler systems and knowledge of local plant species is desired.

License: Current driver’s license. Herbicide Applicator’s license in state of Utah is desired.

Special knowledge, skills, abilities: Ability to receive clearance for fit-for-duty physical from Occupational Medicine Physician and pass pre-employment drug test. Ability to operate a weed cutter, chain saw, tractor, and motor vehicle. Ability to pass a government background investigation to work on government site. Ability to carry out instructions in English furnished in written, verbal, or diagram form. Ability to work outdoors in fluctuating temperatures and environmental hazards, such as mosquitoes and wildlife. Possess problem solving and analytical skills, and the capability to prioritize daily work schedule in keeping with productivity standards.
