GRAND COUNTY Children & Teen Services Manager in MOAB, Utah

About the Position:

Grand County Public Library is hiring a full-time Children & Teen Services Manager to oversee the daily operations of the Children's Library. This oversight would include circulation/information desk duties, patron relationships, technical services, maintenance of library's youth collection, and supervisory duties. This position is responsible for multiple youth programs including the Summer Reading Program, maintaining departmental budget for materials and programing, training new employees, creating advertising, and assisting with public relations and community outreach.

The Ideal Candidate:

The ideal candidate will have considerable knowledge of library issues and excellent customer service skills. As this position provides a considerable amount of customer service and works closely with other library staff; communication, both written and verbal, and effective conflict resolution skills are highly important to maintain successful relationships within the community and with coworkers.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree; and

Three (3) years of library experience; or

An equivalent combination of education and experience.

Successful applicant must pass a background investigation and pre-employment drug screening.

Must possess a valid Driver's License
