Leggett & Platt Inc. ( is seeking summer interns to join our global IT department at our Corporate Headquarters in Carthage, Missouri. This internship provides opportunities to gain real world skills in analysis, design, development, and implementation of IT projects. Primary areas of opportunity include application & integration, business analysis, infrastructure, IT security, compliance, & support.

What you’ll do

  • Work on a project in your field of interest

  • Collaborate with a project mentor on solutions for the identified project

  • Research, code, maybe even walk the entire software development life cycle

  • Present the results of your project work

    Minimum qualifications

  • On track to graduate with a 4-year or graduate degree in Computer Information Systems, Business, Accounting, or Finance

  • Must have had at least one programming class

  • Willingness to take initiative

    Preferred qualifications

  • GPA of at least 3.0

  • Experience with C# or Java

  • Organizational skills

  • Ability to work independently or as an active member of a team
