Description

C & B Equipment, a progressive family-owned company that has grown over 30 years to include John Deere Ag, material handling and power sports locations, has an opening for a full-time Turf Sales Representative in Mitchell, SD. This energetic individual will help create an inviting and professional experience for residential and commercial customers. Building strong customer relationships and growing sales will be of primary focus for this position.

Responsibilities:

  • Building and maintaining relationships with retail and commercial customer base

  • Ability to represent a wide variety of products including residential and commercial lawn mowers, gators, compact utility tractors, small construction equipment, attachments, etc.

  • Provide equipment demonstrations on a regular basis

  • Maintain knowledge of financing options to assist customers with securing the purchase of equipment

  • Create and deliver clear and effective proposals to customers

Qualifications:

  • Previous sales experience in turf equipment, automotive, or similar products preferred

  • Associates or bachelor’s degree preferred but not required

  • A proven track record of meeting and exceeding goals

  • Good understanding of finance and incentive programs

  • Excellent customer relationship skills

  • Excellent verbal, written and listening skills

  • Ability to meet physical demands and duration of physical exertion generally required to perform tasks in support of all job functions, for example - sitting, standing, walking, lifting, carrying, reaching, pushing, and pulling

  • Valid driver’s license and a safe driving record
