    Job Summary

  • Must be able to prepare patients to be seen by physician, assist with ophthalmic surgery evaluations including appropriate work up and diagnostic testing along with patient education, assist with surgical procedures to include instrument set up, must be able to administer of topical medications or diagnostic drugs prescribed by physician related to testing and treatment.

  • Must maintain knowledge of ICD and CPT coding guidelines.

    Education and/or Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent required

  • COA, COT or COMT certification required within one year of employment.

  • Training in ophthalmic diagnostic and treatment procedures, including basic ophthalmic workup, diagnostic equipment listed below, and ophthalmic surgery preferred.

    Work Schedule

  • Monday-Thursday, 7:30am-5:00pm, Friday: 8:00am-12:00pm Friday; 80 hours every 2 weeks

    Pay

    The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.

  • $18.50 - $25.75
