Short Staffed Branch Manager in Mitchell, South Dakota

The Branch Manager is responsible for providing best-in-class service to Short Staffed, Inc.'s customers and temporary employees. Customer-related service includes taking and filling orders, managing the order life cycle, resolving problems, and developing business through customer service calls and marketing candidates proactively. Temporary employee-related service includes recruiting, screening, hiring, training, Terminations, conducting orientations, resolving problems, and managing employee relations issues. The Branch Manager's performance is a key determinant of Short Staffed, Inc.'s reputation in the marketplace. Therefore, the Branch Manager must continually strive to meet and exceed service delivery goals and customer expectations. Operating within company policy, the Branch Manager exercises discretion and independent judgment in making decisions.

Essential duties: Responsible for managing the hiring process from start to finish. Oversee new hire paperwork completion. Must be familiar with forms/testing required for each customer. Must be familiar with all applicable local, state, and Federal employment laws. Ensure completion of pick-up schedules for drivers. Place help wanted ads. Attend job fairs Interview candidates.

Must be able to manage time, and keep tasks organized. Attention to detail is imperative due to the private and personal nature of the paperwork that is handled during the hiring process. Responsible for maintaining appearance and functionality of lobby. Must be able to use the telephone; required to communicate effectively using telephone.
