Citigroup Senior Vice President, Senior Audit Manager - Senior Data Strategy & Analytics Manager (Hybrid) in Mississauga, Ontario

Team/Role Overview

The Internal Audit (IA) Central Transformation team is an integral part of the broader IA Transformation team with a mandate to coordinate, drive and report on Internal Audit's assurance efforts across Citi's transformation.

The Senior Data Strategy & Analytics Manager is a senior role with the responsibility for understanding the data needs across IA Transformation with the purpose of developing and executing a roadmap to maximize data capabilities and business insights.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the efforts to drive efficiencies and simplification through the identification and implementation of automation opportunities within IA Central Transformation and the broader IA Transformation Team.

  • Provide data-driven analysis and insights to help support the IA validation processes.

  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders/ partners to build a consistent and accurate strategy for using IA Transformation related data.

  • Responsible for the delivery of regular and time sensitive analytics, visualizations, and reports to senior management, regulators and the Board.

  • Influence a wide range of internal audiences and provide function wide training and briefings as required.

  • Analyze, implement, and automate underlying data, data flows, and data controls to enhance processes and efficiency.

  • Lead a team and work in close partnership with peers, and senior leadership members across IA Transformation to constantly evaluate where opportunities exist to simplify, strengthen, and improve the IA Transformation metrics reporting.

  • Lead the design, development and implementation of bespoke reporting dashboards to enhance decision making for senior leadership.

  • Execute on other tasks as assigned by IA Leadership team.

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years' experience of relevant experience in data analytics, data visualization, process automation and reporting.

  • Experience in Tableau, Power BI or equivalent preferred.

  • Experience with leading teams skilled in data analytics and dashboard reporting.

  • Coding in Python, R, SAS (or related statistics programs) preferred, but not required.

  • Experience in SQL, VBA or other programming language is a plus.

  • Knowledge of audits is a plus, but not required.

  • Effective verbal, written and negotiation skills.

  • Effective project management skills.

  • Effective influencing and relationship management skills.

  • Demonstrated ability to work with multiple senior stakeholders.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience, Master's degree preferred but is not required
