Expeditors Reception, Accounting Agent in Mississauga, Ontario

In the reception position, you will be the first point of contact representing Expeditors and carrying out standard reception/administrative functions. In the Accounting Agent position, you will be responsible for completing payments and reconciling invoices.

Finance & Operations:

 Ensure reception area is tidy and presentable

 Receive, sort and distribute daily mail/courier/deliveries

 Maintain security & safety procedures by controlling access via the reception desk (monitor visitor logbook, issue visitor badges etc.)

 Order office supplies and keep inventory of stock

 Arrange travel accommodations, and prepare visitor itineraries

 Reconcile Payables by verifying entries, and comparing system reports to balances.

 Maintain company cash flow by utilizing our credit terms with all Service Providers and Vendors.

 Scheduling and preparing payment disbursements according to company policy for all manual and electronic payments.

 Log and close payment discrepancies as they are found.

 Maintain branch accounting log reports

 Reconcile the AP System with service provider and vendor accounts with monthly statements and related transactions.

 Process Intercompany payments

People:

 Greet and welcome guests as soon as they arrive at the branch, or telephone

 Forward incoming phone calls professionally

 Provide basic and accurate information in‐person and via phone/email

 Maintain a professional attitude with all internal and external customers

 Meet company standards of 52 hours training per year

Customer:

 Support the Accounting Supervisor, and the Accounting department.

 Support the branch operational departments in Accounting functions.

 Provide 100% Customer Service to Customers, Service Providers, Vendors & Intercompany at all times.

Compliance:

 Review, follow and abide by the company internal controls. Specifically the Fınancıal Process Control Documentation, and Expeditors

Security & Safety Standards.

 Promote compliance in diligently following all company policies and regulations and in being a role model of integrity and pride for all

employees.

 Proactively communicate within the team to ensure continuous awareness and understanding of policies and regulations.
