Summary:

The Machine Operator is responsible in ensuring seamless processing of machinery and products. The Machine Operator is required to ensure the safe, efficient operation, cleaning of and running adjustments for the machine(s). Responsible for the maintenance of prescribed quantity and quality of product produced. The Machine Operator must be prepared to work as a team member and with minimal supervision, follow all safety and food safety procedures, and have a high threshold for heat in a manufacturing environment. 

Job Duties and Responsibilities (including but not limited to):

  • Follow the schedule as required and laid out by the Production Supervisor.

  • Transfer prepared dough/batter from buggies to hopper into extruder.

  • Calibrate machines as per product specification and monitor weight and size.

  • Clean under and around equipment after every batch/buggy; removing waste.

  • Ensure our high-quality standards are being met with every batch we produce by checking each batch for quality and accuracy - delivering a world class finished product each time.  Complete quality checks as required.

  • Support other departments and functions of production as required.

  • Assist sanitation with the cleanliness of production equipment and floor.

  • Adhering to all policies, procedures and programs of the company (GMP, Quality, Food Safety and Health & Safety etc) at all times.

  • Other related duties and assigned.
