This role in summary

Whirlpool is currently seeking qualified candidates for an Executive Assistant (Contract). This is an onsite role at our Mississauga, Canada location. In this role you will provide administrative and program management support to the Vice President & GM as well as select members of the Senior Leadership Team.

Your responsibilities will include

General administrative responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Calendar Management (with internal and external contacts)

  • Presentation development

  • Prepare & compile reports

  • Expense reporting

  • Travel coordination

  • Drafting and sending company-wide communications

  • Coordination of company programs and initiatives (Wellness, Appliance Program, Donations)

  • Creation and management of Purchase Orders

  • Vendor management and invoice payment

  • Coordinating monthly financial and operations reviews

  • Manage monthly Town Hall and other company meetings

  • Planning and coordination of company events (Sales and Service Conferences, company bbq etc.)

  • General admin ad hoc support for all departments as required

  • Special projects as required

Minimum requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • 3+ years of executive administrative support or program coordination experience

Preferred skills and experiences

  • Bachelor's Degree

  • Able to operate in a fast paced, deadline driven environment with the ability to build excellent relationships as part of a team.

  • Experience working in a dynamic environment with changing priorities.

  • Ability to handle and use discretion with highly confidential information is mandatory.

  • Experience multitasking, with well-developed time management and analytical skills are essential.

  • Strong organizational and computer skills, with strong verbal and written communication skills are also required.

  • A positive attitude and ability to get along with, and influence people at all levels of the organization.

  • Bilingual

  • Proficiency in Google Suite & ExcelRSRWP
