What will you do?

  • Answer and direct incoming calls, emails and requests from customers and vendors

  • Coordinate work flow with sales, the shop, shipping and receiving

  • Maintain daily reports (open orders, back orders, follow up on past due)

  • Order materials such as stock products through our internal network or purchased items from outside vendors

  • Assist the shipping and receiving department with product receipts, shelf counts, and inventory adjustments

  • Receive visitors, organize customer training

  • Various clerical: mail, file, photocopy, accounts payable

  • University/College Degree in Business Administration and/or related work experience

  • Customer service/receptionist experience

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (bilingual-definite asset)

  • Must be able to work Mon – Fri 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM

  • Independent ability to evaluate situations, solve problems and make decisions

  • Recognition and ability to effect change and contribute to the organization’s goals

  • Computer proficiency and organizational skills

  • Energetic and positive with a willingness to expand one’s abilities.

  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, Internet/Intranet

  • Fast and accurate typing skills

  • Must have reliable transportation
