As an ER nurse, you will play a critical role in providing compassionate and efficient care to patients experiencing various medical emergencies.

As an ER nurse on the night shift, you will be responsible for assessing patient conditions, administering medications and treatments, implementing care plans, and collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure timely and effective patient care during the night hours.

Requirements

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assess and triage patients based on severity of condition.

  • Monitor and document patient vital signs and symptoms.

  • Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders.

  • Perform emergency medical procedures, such as CPR and wound care.

  • Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.

  • Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families.

  • Ensure compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

Job Requirements:

  • Valid California Registered Nurse (RN) license.

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in an emergency room setting.

  • Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations.

  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment.

  • Flexibility to work night shifts and weekends.

  • Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
