Overview
The Senior IT Analyst Infrastructure focuses on gathering and interpreting data, gathering and documenting business requirements, and defining and documenting processes. This role can easily interpret information and resolve transaction / data / process / solution discrepancies versus documented requirements. Facilitates functional and non-functional requirements elicitation with business and technical audiences across the organization. Captures requirements in business requirements documents. Designs and documents process and process flow aligning with current and target state requirements, data, or solution. In partnership with technical subject matter experts (SMEs), translates business requirements into technical requirements leading to a solution design or design specification. Understands infrastructure technology (architecture, platforms, and services) concepts, functions, and uses sufficiently to assist technical subject matter experts (SMEs) to design a technical solution that meets documented requirements. Seeks to standardize, automate, and streamline data and processes. Identifies, monitors, and coordinates activities surrounding KPIs and use cases to ensure the solution meets the documented requirements.

Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, and Excel, OneNote, Teams, and Visio)
Superior verbal/written communication skills
Strong solution and/or business analyst experience
Experience in requirements gathering, problem solving, event and change management
Experience in development of strategic communications plans to promote IT solutions, educate and influence internal audiences
Experience in leading requirements elicitation sessions with cross-functional business and IT audiences, authoring business requirements documents, user stories/use cases with defined acceptance criteria
Experience in applying Lean principles in process ownership or design
Strong collaborator to ensure consistent messaging across various audiences and stakeholders
Strong planning and organization skills
Experience reporting and communicating project, program, portfolio and functional level status, issues, risks, and costs to executives
Ability to take complex processes and present them in an easy-to-understand format
Primary Responsibilities
Gather, analyze, and interpret requirements
Gather and analyze data to identify trends and patterns
Submit reports and artifacts to the relevant project manager and management
Help management and other teams achieve business goals and needs
Establish new data gathering and analysis techniques within the organization
Craft project documentation including, but not limited to, Use Cases, Business Requirements Document (BRD), Risk Register, Lessons Learned, Requirements Traceability Matrix
Facilitate functional and non-functional requirements elicitation with both business and technical audiences across the organization
Design and document processes and process flow (cross-functional process diagramming) aligning with requirements and data
Partner with technical teams to translate business requirements into technical requirements leading to solution design
Collaborate cross-functionally to enhance overall delivery of team
Support the execution of a specific portfolio delivery management processes in response to business needs and requirements
Produce project meeting minutes and track action items
Analyze and interpret information for planning and control purposes as well as decision making
Support and communicate across different business functions
Identify and mitigate risks
Support communications, meetings, and other collaborations as appropriate to effectively perform work and to understand, resolve, and/or mitigate risks, obstacles, issues, and conflicts
Monitor, coordinate metrics, and act on exceptions to address issues
Understand, communicate, and reinforce standard process concepts and methodology within the ETP organization
Assist in determining opportunities to redesign ETP processes to achieve better results
Assist in determining opportunities to automate ETP processes and functions
Perform other duties as assigned and contribute to the success of the department and function at Southern Glazer’s Wine & Spirits
Preferred Qualifications
Master’s Degree
Business Analyst (PBA, CCBA or IIBA) or Agile Analyst (AAC) certification
ITIL v4 MP certification
ITIL v4 Foundation certification
Lean Six Sigma certification
Industry-recognized certification in an infrastructure technology or technical domain (CCNA, AWS, CISSP, etc.)
Experience in Infrastructure support, engineering, operations, architecture, or project delivery in an enterprise IT function with 10,000 – 20,000+ users
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree
3+ years leading medium to complex systems development multi-million-dollar projects at one time
