JOB REQUIREMENTS: Sell new and used vehicles at dealership gross profit, volume and customer satisfaction standards. Realize that business is built on customer satisfaction and devote himself/herself to guaranteeing satisfaction of customers. Establish personal income goals that are consistent with dealership standards of productivity, and devise a strategy to meet those goals. Determine each customer\'s vehicle needs by asking questions and listening. Demonstrate new and used vehicles (including test drives). Deliver vehicles to customers and ensuring that the customer understands the vehicle\'s operating features, warranty and paper work to lay the foundation for customer loyalty. Maintain owner follow-up system that encourages repeat and referral business and contributes to customer satisfaction. Keep abreast of new products, features, accessories, etc. and their benefits to customers. Maintain a prospect development system. Understand the terminology of the automobile business and keep abreast of technological changes in the product. Greet customers and ascertain what each customer wants or needs. Recommend, select, and help locate or obtain merchandise based on customer needs and desires. Demonstrate use or operation of merchandise. Describe merchandise and explain use, operation, and care of merchandise to customers. ***** OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma or the equivalent. Able to read and comprehend instructions and information.
