Huntington National Bank Talent Development Facilitator - Hybrid Role in Minnetonka, Minnesota

Summary:

If so, this is a great opportunity to join the Enterprise Leader and Colleague Development team as a Talent Development Facilitator. Our team uses experiential, engaging and instructor-led learning approaches to deliver solutions that support/develop colleague and leadership capabilities, foster professional development and support our overall purpose to look out for people.

In this role of Talent Development Facilitator/Training Specialist, you will play a pivotal role as part of this team, leveraging your knowledge, expertise and passion to provide our colleagues and leaders the foundation needed to reach their full potential.

You’ll need to be a high-energy, strong communicator and adaptable in delivering content on a range of topics to a variety of audiences, both colleague and leader, throughout the Huntington footprint.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate 50% of the leader and colleague development solutions catalog

  • Obtain appropriate vendor certifications (Franklin Covey, SLI, Mind Gym, Crucial Learning, Impact Human Performance in addition to applicable facilitation/L&D certifications)

  • Build rapport and interface with colleagues and front-line and regional leaders

  • Working knowledge of other aspects of L&D including instructional design and consultation

  • Key contact for development vendors

  • Ability to engage audiences in a variety of settings: virtually, in-person, and hybrid (manage classroom)

  • Ability to tailor development solutions to audience and coach in the moment

  • Ability to agilely flex between a variety of audiences and development content in any given week.

  • Talent and HR project work, as assigned

  • Excellent written and verbal communications

  • Lead for key facilitation, delivery, colleague experience pieces of work (LD/CD communications, facilitation scheduling, T3, etc.)

  • Key contributor to process improvement and innovation in facilitation space

  • Provide feedback to content owners, represent leader and colleague development interests on project teams, and recommend development approaches as needed

  • Establish and maintain partnerships with internal/external partners and key stakeholders

  • This role does require some travel – 25-50% depending on location. Majority of facilitation will occur in Ohio.

Basic Qualifications:

  • High school education

  • 1 year of public speaking experience and/or

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in delivery of training programs

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced communication and presentation skills

  • Proficiency with MS Office applications

  • Propensity to demonstrate an advanced level of professionalism

  • Capacity to stand for long periods of time to facilitate content on consecutive days

  • Ability and willingness to travel regularly, locally and overnight as well throughout the Huntington footprint as needed
