Job Title: Oracle Fusion ERP Subject Matter Expert (SME)

Location: Remote or Hybrid

Job Overview: We are looking for a proactive Oracle Fusion ERP Subject Matter Expert (SME) with extensive experience in IT operations and application support. This role involves analyzing current financial system practices to recommend and implement solutions and enhancements, directly impacting the efficiency of our operations and aligning with our long-term business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical leadership for the Cloud ERP landscape, particularly for Oracle Fusion Financial modules, bill management, and OIC integration/interface support.

  • Collaborate with the Techno-Functional Team, Oracle Managed Service Team (CSS), and CRM/Hotel/ERP OIC and OCI Support Team to execute system improvements.

  • Exhibit a can-do attitude and persistently achieve objectives despite obstacles.

  • Identify and communicate areas for improvement to relevant stakeholders.

  • Share and train team members on Oracle Cloud technical knowledge.

  • Translate technical issues into business concerns for better understanding and resolution.

  • Demonstrate strong proficiency with Oracle Fusion SaaS Cloud REST API, especially related to ERP and HCM modules.

  • Ensure the security of OIC and ERP systems, including PGP encryption, SSL renewals, SSO, and best practices for handling sensitive data and software development methodologies.

Experience & Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited college or university, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Strong working knowledge of ERP systems, their interfaces, and data exchanges.

  • Experience with Vertex or other tax software solutions.

  • At least 3 years of experience with Oracle Integration Cloud.

  • Familiarity with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, including ATP (Autonomous Transaction Processing DB).

  • Working knowledge of HDL (High Data Load) for bulk import processing.

  • Exposure to and experience with:

  • Technology-related project experience, including understanding of IT/infrastructure and development.

  • Change management in complex environments.

  • Resource management, specifically demand and capacity planning.

  • Risk and issue management.

Languages:

  • Proficient in English, both written and verbal.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Experience leading IT projects across global, cross-functional teams, including technology upgrades, maintenance, and development implementations.

  • Global experience with reporting systems, ETL integrations, and financial systems.

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently.

  • Resourceful and action-oriented, capable of overcoming obstacles and achieving goals.

  • Forward-thinking, with a focus on continuous improvement.

  • Ability to influence, negotiate, and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, contractors, and vendors.
