Huntington National Bank Merchant Services Settlement Analyst in Minnetonka, Minnesota

Description

Summary:

Merchant Services Settlement Analyst leads assigned projects and/or provides advanced specialized consultative support to other team members for assigned business process and/or system(s) that are typically more complex and of a larger impact to the company.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Maintains in-depth knowledge of business processes and applications and stays current in technical enhancements, methodologies and trends related to the assigned application(s).

  • Analyzes existing processes and systems and identifies technical or procedural improvements.

  • Recommends business practices to optimize use of business process/system(s).

  • Develops operational procedures for products, services and systems.

  • Designs processes to meet regulatory requirements.

  • Develops and generates special and ad hoc reports.

  • Provides technical support to business unit, customers, management and other users.

  • Serves as liaison between software vendors and business process system users and other corporate areas.

  • Performs other duties as assigned

  • Experience with reconciling daily, weekly, & monthly bankcard settlement reports and reserve accounts..

This is a hybrid role. You must be located near a Huntington Corporate office.

Basic Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

  • 4 or more years of experience in merchant acquiring settlement operations.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree

  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Excellent analytical and mathematical skills.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to multi task and work in a fast paced environment with excellent troubleshooting, problem solving and organizational skills.

  • Keen attention to detail.

  • Ability to identify continuous improvement opportunities and solutions.

  • Proficiency in managing multiple priorities and ability to re-prioritize as appropriate.

  • Ability to think strategically.

  • Understanding of Project Management methodologies.
