Beacon Hill Staffing Group, LLC Leave of Absence Analyst (Part-Time) in Minnetonka, Minnesota

Job Title: Leave of Absence Analyst Job Overview: Beacon Hill is seeking a Leave of Absence Analyst to support our client in managing leave of absence requests on a part time basis. The ideal candidate will possess comprehensive knowledge of leave policies, federal and state leave laws, including the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), and Workers Compensation. This is a contract position, with an anticipated duration of 3 months. The ideal schedule is Monday to Friday for 4 hours per day, 20 hours per week, but alternate part-time schedules will be considered. Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Administer leave programs, ensuring compliance with company policies and relevant laws.
  2. Serve as a liaison with external leave administrators, addressing issues promptly and identifying opportunities for process enhancement.
  3. Manage and track LOA processes, collaborating with payroll, benefits, and external administrators. Escalate cases to management when necessary.
  4. Act as the primary point of contact for employee inquiries regarding LOA, STD, and LTD, providing policy interpretation and engaging in the interactive process as needed.
  5. Serve as a subject matter expert on LOA matters, aligning with HR leadership and the Legal department.
  6. Communicate absence and return-to-work information to employees and supervisors as appropriate.
  7. Collaborate with Management, Employee Relations, and Legal departments.
  8. Undertake additional duties and projects as assigned.

Position Requirements: - Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. - +3 of experience managing leave cases (FMLA, STD, LTD). - +3 years of experience in Human Resources. Position Preferred Qualifications: - Understanding of benefits and payroll and their impact on leave administration (preferred but not required). - Experience with multi-state leave administration. - Proficiency in navigating various systems, generating reports, and analyzing data. - Experience working with third-party leave vendors. - Ability to work independently.
