Hiring Multiple Candidates Full-Time Position

Monday-Friday (occasional Saturdays during peak periods)

POSITION DUTIES:

  • Unload trucks in an orderly fashion as directed

  • Unpack product received and place in appropriate greenhouse or cooler areas as directed, following established stock rotation guidelines

  • Pack store orders as directed including decorations and price tags as well as product; are responsible for accuracy of orders

  • Notify work director or manager regarding any quality control issues

  • Take inventories as directed and record accurately according to pre-established guidelines

  • Responsible for maintaining inventories on price tags, care sheets and signage

  • Provide support labor for other departments as directed.  Perform other duties as directed

  • Maintain clean work areas according to department standards and procedures

  • Tag and process special order requests

  • Process and pack special orders/requests from customers, stores or any other departments as needed or directed

  • Communicate to buyer any special needs and perform duties of Crew Leaders as needed on a temporary basis

  • Give/provide work direction to other Warehouse Person(s), Warehouse Helpers, Temporary Help, and/or reassigned workers in English

    QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma preferred

  • Must have excellent grasp of basic math skills and be able to read and write

  • Valid Class D Minnesota driver’s license or equivalent out-state license preferred

  • Must be accepted as insurable with Bachman’s Insurance carrier considering a Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) and Bachman’s Safe Driver Standards

  • One year of general warehouse or greenhouse experience

  • Good working knowledge of seasonal plants/flowers, quality control, floral foods, chemical treatments and storing/packing needs for individual products required

  • Prefer prior experience in a leadership role giving work direction.  Must be capable of performing Crew Lead duties on a temporary basis

  • Must be at least 18 years of age Must be at least 18 years of age

  • Must be able to move and/or lift 50 pounds on a regular basis and 100 pounds occasionally

  • Must be able to stand and/or walk entire shift on concrete floors, and in warm/hot (greenhouse area) and cold (cooler) during the entire shift
