About Our Opportunity

The Territory Sales Manager drives sales and profit growth in his/her assigned region. The Te rritory Sales Manager works closely with current dealers, prospective dealers, professional landscape contractors, distributors, and internal channel partners to meet or exceed sales goals for our premier brand EGO. The Territory Sales Manager drives results through converting, prospecting, training, and developing effective sales processes and programs.

Key Job Responsibilities:

  • Meets or beats monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals.

  • Recruits and signs new dealers in accordance with annual goals.

  • Provides training and sales support for dealers in his/her region.

  • Works closely with dealers and professional landscape contractors to grow their business. Activities include, but are not limited to, product demonstrations, product line reviews, ride-a-longs, training, and sales and service support.

  • Attend company, national and regional events and meetings.

  • Attend dealer, national and regional trade shows and meetings and events promoting EGO products.

  • Manages time and travel schedule to provide the most efficient and effective productivity while managing costs.

  • Build long-term relationships with new and existing accounts.

  • Build trust and respect with internal and external customers by utilizing the utmost integrity.

  • Fully support the EGO brand marketing initiatives at the dealer level.

  • Provides channel feedback to Chervon regarding product performance, marketing initiative acceptance and competitive intelligence gathering.

  • Implement the AIR program with Territory Managers.

  • Add dealers in open markets

  • Improve dealer development

  • Replace poor performing dealers

  • Perform other duties as required.

    Requirements:

  • Experience as a Territory Manager or similar role in a dealer environment; outdoor power equipment experience a plus.

  • Proven sales track record.

  • Strong negotiation skills.

  • Excellent communication skills.

  • Customer focus.

  • Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and other pertinent software applications.

  • Strong financial aptitude.

  • A bachelor's degree in business or equivalent relevant experience preferred.

    Travel Requirements:

  • This position requires 60-70% travel within a territory with overnights; drives a Company vehicle and pulls a Company trailer as needed and works in various office and professional environments.
