JOB SUMMARY

ONEOK is looking to hire summer workers to assist with our seasonal increase in workload which will run approximately May thru August - exact dates of this position may vary by location. Job Profile Summary

The Operations Summer Worker assists and performs basic operational and technical support for the facility and facility equipment under the supervision and mentorship of other employees and supervisors.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

• Attends and participates in required safety training and location-specific meetings

• Conduct hands-on work such as groundskeeping (mowing, weeding, gravel maintenance), general housekeeping, painting outside or in a well-ventilated area with a handheld brush/roller, cleaning valves

• Cleaning around manifolds, non-hazardous duties related to spill clean-up, assisting with vehicle maintenance, assisting with tank pump change out, rack meter overhaul/repair, and assisting with other non-hazardous maintenance activities

• Other duties as assigned

Education

• H.S. Diploma or equivalent

Work Experience

• Candidates need to have completed at least a semester and be currently enrolled in a full-time two-year college or trade school preferred.

• Candidates enrolled in a full-time four-year degree program will also be considered.

• A 3.0 GPA or higher is preferred.

• Preferred majors/certificates emphasis include but are not limited to: Engineering (such as Mechanical, Electrical, or Petroleum Engineering), Process Technology, I&E Instrumentation, or Electrician.

• Ability to: communicate effectively orally and in writing in English with co-workers, supervisors, internal and external customers
