Position Description:

Sr. Supply Chain Analyst for Medtronic, Inc., Minneapolis, MN. Responsible for designing and analyzing supply chain solutions by modeling the digital version of Medtronic’s end-to-end supply chain network and providing coordination with the manufacturing, distribution, transportation, and inventory departments. Responsible for identifying opportunity of cost savings by implementing optimum inventory level, transportation route and transportation mode. Coordinate supply chain design projects which include data collection using SQL and modeling using Coupa software or Python. Track estimated savings for implemented projects and modify project parameters if required. Evaluate the impact of performing Network optimization by tracking the supply chain network Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). Collaborate with the broader supply chain entities and global business stakeholders to understand and gather the information required to represent and model the Medtronic global supply chain. Position is open to telecommuting from anywhere in the United States. #LI-DNI

Basic Qualifications:

Requires a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field and two (2) years of experience as a supply chain analyst or related occupation. Must possess at least two (2) years of experience with each of the following: modeling end-to-end supply chain network using Coupa software or Python; supply chain Inventory optimization; transportation/logistics optimization; data processing with SQL or Python; tracking supply chain network KPIs; and collaborating with global business stakeholders.
