Senior Trainer (IT) BCforward is currently seeking a highly motivated Senior Trainer (IT) - Remote Position Title: Senior Trainer (IT) Location: Minneapolis, MN / Remote Anticipated Start Date: 06/03 Please note this is the target date and is subject to change. Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior IT Trainer to join our team on a contract-to-hire basis. In this pivotal role, you will collaborate closely with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) from both technical and business domains to design, develop, test, and deploy engaging and effective eLearning courses. Your expertise in using Articulate Storyline, Articulate Rise, and Powtoons will be essential in creating high-quality training materials that meet our organizational needs and learning objectives. This is a remote position. Key Responsibilities: * Collaborate with SMEs: Work with technical and business SMEs to gather requirements and understand learning objectives for various training initiatives. * Design and Develop eLearning Courses: Use Articulate Storyline, Articulate Rise, and Powtoons to create interactive and engaging eLearning courses. * Test and Deploy: Ensure the quality and functionality of eLearning courses through rigorous testing and deploy them using appropriate learning management systems. * Maintain and Update Content: Regularly review and update existing training materials to ensure they remain current and relevant. * Evaluate Training Effectiveness: Gather feedback from learners and stakeholders to assess the effectiveness of training programs and make necessary improvements. * Provide Support and Troubleshooting: Offer technical support and troubleshooting assistance for eLearning courses and related technologies. * Document Processes: Maintain comprehensive documentation of training development processes, standards, and best practices. Required Qualifications: * Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in developing eLearning courses, specifically using Articulate Storyline and Articulate Rise. * Technical Proficiency: Strong skills in using Articulate Storyline, Articulate Rise, and Powtoons. * Instructional Design: Expertise in instructional design principles and best practices for eLearning. * Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely. * Collaborative Skills: Proven ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including technical and business SMEs. * Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in developing training materials. * Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues quickly. Preferred Qualifications: * Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Education, Information Technology, or a related field. * Certification: Relevant certifications in eLearning development or instructional design.
