Job Description

Fulcrum Consulting, an LRS company is seeking a Senior Storage Engineer with our client in Minneapolis, MN

Hybrid – Onsite 3 days/week.

Solid understanding of SAN & NAS concepts, protocols along with operations knowledge of storage environment.

Candidates must have the following required skills:

  • SAN Administration & Zoning

  • Proficiency in managing PURE Storage: Hands-on experience.

  • Hands-on Proficiency in AWS Storage Services, i.e. S3, FSxN, EFS, EBS

  • Hands-on/Basic experience in managing Windows, Linux systems.

  • Professional experience in administration, configuration & operational support of Storage Platforms (NetApp, ECS etc.)

Candidate preferred skill set:

  • Exposure or experience with Terraform or Python or Ansible is highly desirable.

  • Experience with Bitbucket & Jenkins CI-CD pipeline framework is highly desirable.

  • Should have fundamental exposure to IT environments governed by ITIL framework. Change, Incident (RCA) & Problem Management-related activities

  • Solid understanding of monitoring tools and monitoring techniques with focus on problem determination and prevention.

  • Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and communicate effectively.

Detailed Qualifications:

  • Designing, implementing, and managing storage environment.

  • Proven experience in PURE Storage & NetApp storage for administration, including configuration, maintenance, monitor storage systems & perform ONTAP GUI/CLI operations, installation, upgrade, backup/restore, and file system configuration for CIFS/NFS/iSCSI.

  • Proven knowledge of Cloud Storage

  • Experience with Brocade/Connectrix Switches

  • Strong Knowledge on Performance analysis factors of Pure Storage Arrays, PURE CLI Commands.

  • Monitor system performance, availability, and security to ensure optimal operations.

  • Experience in Configuring and troubleshooting Fabric Environment constituting Brocade/ Connectrix/ Cisco switches.

  • Certification on PURE technology is an added advantage.

  • Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience of handling Infrastructure-storage especially Pure Storage & experience in Cloud space specifically AWS including experience with infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
