Mead & Hunt Inc Senior Site Construction Manager - On-Call in Minneapolis, Minnesota

Mead & Hunt, Inc., a nationally recognized professional services consulting firm, has an on-call position available for a senior site construction manager. Responsibilities include leading construction administration activities for multi-discipline construction projects in accordance with the project contract and schedule; conducting daily construction inspections to ensure proper installation of equipment; managing the flow of project communications including submittals, RFI s and supplemental instructions; ensuring safety standards are being followed; creating daily construction reports. Travel to construction sites is an essential function of this position; a valid driver s license is required. The hours for this position could vary from zero to 40, and potentially sometimes more than 40. This position is located at various project sites; it is currently an on-call (i.e., no benefits) position. The successful candidate must have a combination of education and/or experience totaling eight years of relevant experience. Any of the following is acceptable: associate degree in construction management, engineering, or related discipline plus six years of experience; bachelor s degree in construction management, engineering, architecture or related discipline plus four years of experience; no degree plus eight years of experience.
