Senior Marketing Events Manager Location: Minneapolis, MN, US Job Family: Marketing Country/Region: United States The Senior Marketing Events Manager serves as an integral part of the marketing team supporting the development and implementation of key marketing and event strategies. While partnering with the product marketing and professional education teams, they will be responsible for the development and implementation of all marketing programs and events as well as providing recommendations on how to help drive new business, engage current customers and expand the Coloplast brand through the events channel. In collaboration with key stakeholders including marketing, professional education and sales, this position is responsible for leading the planning and executing of a wide range of events including but not limited to; national and international society meetings, symposiums, local tradeshows; sectional AUA meetings, and KOL meetings. Major Areas of Accountability Serve as the event management team champion providing expertise, guidance, and mentorship to Marketing Operations Development and tactical execution of U.S. Corporate tradeshow logistics, budget, travel, and accommodations, etc. Manages expenditure tracking and reporting for US tradeshow budget. Manages tradeshow vendor for the planning and implementation of national tradeshows and congresses Manages the logistics for pre- or post-event ancillary meetings or events for congresses, including dinners, symposia, and formal outings. Manages the overall communication with attendees and participants. Implements and conducts exhibit staff training when necessary. Facilitates, fosters, and promotes smooth and open communication between multiple teams and personalities to achieve on time completion of projects and provides regular status reporting for all marketing projects Facilitates routing, approval and editing of all contracts and agreements, adhering to Legal and Regulatory processes and standards Works with creative and other marketing partners to execute on promotional tactics for marketing programs & events. Manages, maintains, and recommends continuous improvements for all booth properties and convention assets Create and maintain calendar for tradeshows Responsible for maintaining inventory supplies for tradeshows, coordinating shipping, and receiving and maintaining organization of tradeshow storage areas. As a Coloplast Brand Ambassador, ensures that all creative and messaging complies with the Corporate Visual Identity (CVI) Serves as the industry advisor on matters pertaining to societies and associations tradeshow policies and procedures Tracks leads, ROI and other metrics, providing analysis and reporting on events and trade shows, identifying opportunities for improvement and development. Other duties as assigned Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent experience and secondary education 10+ years of experience in marketing or event planning Experience working in a regulated environment, i.e., healthcare, medical device, or pharmaceutical preferred Excellent project management skills and ability to work cross-functionally required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Proven ability to lead, manage and/or support multiple interdisciplinary/cross-functional/ international projects (including projects with outside vendors or agencies), gain consensus/approval where needed, prioritize & drive strategic objectives effectively Develops strong, positive & effective working relationships with individuals inside & outside the organization. Demonstrates excellent oral & written communication skills with the ability to listen, articulate, facilitate & advocate Demonstrates a continuous desire to understan , learn and implement industry best practices and trends. Strong analytical skills and marketing performance knowledge. Maintains an extremely high attention to detail, organization and follow through.
