Our dynamic and successful ITS/CAV Group is seeking a full-time Senior ITS/CAV Engineer. This position would be based in our Minneapolis office with the opportunity to work on a hybrid model. As a Senior ITS/CAV Engineer, you will contribute to the development and management of a variety of transportation technology systems, including ITS/CAV and related traffic engineering areas. Responsibilities: Management of staff and technical work for complex transportation projects/studies. Business development activities including marketing and building/establishing client relationships. Working with internal company groups and external clients. Assisting group leadership in developing and implementing a strategic growth plan for the market. Developing and mentoring staff to grow the group in the Minneapolis office. Leading the planning, design, and implementation of ITS/CAV, advanced traffic management systems, transit technologies, electrical design, intelligent work zones, and wireless and fiber networks. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree in traffic / transportation engineering or civil engineering. 8+ years of prior related traffic engineering experience is preferred. MN PE or the ability to attain within 6 months. Ability to lead tasks, manage projects, and provide mentorship, growth, and development opportunities for traffic engineering staff. Strong analytical skills with proven technical writing ability. Excellent interpersonal and public communication skills. Proficiency in computer applications including word processing and spreadsheets. Experience with CADD (Microstation, AutoCAD), and experience with traffic engineering software is a plus. ITS, CAV, or related transportation technology experience is a plus. Experience developing plans, specifications, and estimates (PS&E) is a plus. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
