What you'll do at Jamf: This Staff Systems Development Engineer is responsible for configuring and supporting our cloud platform infrastructure. The initial focus of this role will be on building out mostly greenfield, baseline infrastructure in Azure cloud. After that build is complete, they will cross train team members on supporting the Azure infrastructure while learning to support our other cloud platforms. This role will be multi-cloud after the initial roll-out. This team is an internal enablement team, and other engineers are our customers. We value empathy for our fellow engineers and build for self-service wherever possible. As we are a global company, engineers waiting on us to complete tickets is unacceptable. Solutions must be automated through code, and scalable to support hundreds to thousands of instances/users. What you can expect to do in this role: Design and implement our Azure tenant/subscription structure. Collaboratively design and implement network connectivity, both inside Azure and across multiple cloud platforms. Design and implement team-level access patterns for the Azure cloud platform. Maintain current knowledge in present areas of responsibility (i.e., self education, attend ongoing educational programs). Lead the design and development efforts of the team in the Azure platform foundational architecture. Guide and mentor teams building cloud-based enterprise software, acting as the subject matter expert for Azure infrastructure. What we are looking for: Minimum of 8 years professional experience in Enterprise Software development roles demonstrating progressive knowledge and growth in responsibilities (Required) Cloud Development experience must include tools such as Python, Azure, Github, Jenkins, Infrastructure as Code, APIs, and databases (Required) Experience building networks in cloud environments, including virtual private networks, routing tables, subnets, and VPNs (Required) Experience managing infrastructure through self-service patterns, including GitOps or other mechanisms (Strongly Preferred) Experience in a multi-cloud environment (Strongly Preferred) General Experience Experience with Mac OS X and iOS platforms (Preferred) Atlassian Tools (Jira, Confluence, Bamboo, etc.) Experience operating in an Agile environment (Preferred) Experience in cloud cost modeling or Financial Operations (Preferred) A combination of relevant experience and education may be considered US Residency required Why Jamf?
