Ebenezer Property Maintenance Supervisor in Minneapolis, Minnesota

Overview

  • Ebenezer offers a robust compensation package with competitive benefits and wages ranging from $28 - $37 per hour. All Wage determinations will be based on similar experience.

We are looking for a Property Maintenance Supervisor to join our team! This position provides oversight and maintenance of property (building & grounds) including all major utility, life safety and security systems. Supervises maintenance and housekeeping staff. Ensures 24/7 emergency On-Call response per rotating schedule. Chairs or co-chairs safety committee. This supervisor schedule includes;

  • 80 hours every two weeks

  • Full time, day shifts; Monday - Friday: 7:30 AM - 4 PM

  • Weekend as needed, On call 24 hours per day

Responsibilities/Job Description

  • Provides oversight and maintenance of property (building & grounds) including all major utility, life safety and security system

  • Supervises maintenance and housekeeping staff

  • Promotes a safe environment for staff, tenants and visitor

  • Maintain a REAC score above 81%

  • Oversees the proper functioning of building servers/routers/wifi/satellite and other database/software programs

  • Performs other duties required by the specific housing community

Qualifications

Required:

  • Vocational/Technical Training or Associate Degree – Industrial energy, mechanics or related fields

  • Current Driver’s License (in good standing)

  • Special Boiler License required upon hire

  • Boilers License 2-C (required within 18 months of hire date)

  • Three to five years of previous experience

Preferred:

  • Certified Manager of Maintenance Certificate (CMM), Certificate for Apartment Maintenance Technicians (CAMT) or any community college maintenance certificate

  • Five to ten years of previous experience

  • Ability to use MS Office software (Word, Excel)
