Job Description: GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES: This position manages the overall administrative operations of the Augsburg Physician Assistant Program. This person will serve as principal liaison with prospective and current PA students, faculty, and staff to ensure management of the PA program according to Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the Physician Assistant (ARC-PA) standards. Integrate the chief activities of the Academic and Clinical Phases PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: Organize and update the PA program budget Manage and distribute the budget of two (2) ongoing grants from the Minnesota Department of Health Organize and coordinate national accreditation (ARC-PA) data collection, management and analysis Coordinate national accreditation correspondence and site visits Coordinate and supervise the duties of all the department staff members. Be proficient in managing program data in Excel, Salesforce and other platforms Requirements: Bachelor's degree. Minimum of two (2) years relevant experience. Minimum of one (1) year of experience in supervisory role. Strong written and oral communication skills, including the ability to present ideas and suggestions clearly, effectively, and positively. Ability to provide leadership, direction and support necessary to ensure that day-to-day business operations are performed consistently and effectively to achieve the highest quality education. Ability to work effectively and collaboratively in a diverse work environment. Ability to be attentive to details, be accurate, be precise. Ability to lead/teach and mentor others. Ability to work effectively in a team environment; and work independently with little supervision. Ability to reason/analyze; maintain confidentiality; and demonstrate patience, understanding. Ability to show initiative; organize workflow; manage one or more projects; and handle frequent interruptions. Demonstrated comfort and willingness to learn and develop new processes. Reliable transportation to clinical sites in Minnesota. WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Typical work environment is an office, working at a desk for long periods of time. Some driving to work-related meetings is required. Some remote days are available. Workday is mostly 8 am-5 pm M-F but could require some nights and weekends Regular telephone, computer keyboard, mouse and monitor use. Repetitive arm, hand, finger motions.
