The Procedure Center Manager uses advanced knowledge skills and abilities to establish an environment of collaborative, integrated, quality, patient focused, care delivery for procedural patients at Clinic and Surgery Center Ambulatory Surgery Center (CSC ASC). This person participates with organizational and departmental leadership to develop, implement and evaluate strategic and operational plans that are aligned with organizational strategies and initiatives. As part of the ASC leadership team, this individual collaborates to manage daily operations and assure compliance to all ASC requirements. Ranked #2 in the state of Minnesota, our Ambulatory Surgery Center servesas a catalyst for the expansion of our extraordinary patient care and innovative research. Patient needs and the principles of access, innovation and cost-effective care have been incorporated at every level. Our Ambulatory Surgery and Procedure Center has 10 operating rooms and 6 procedure rooms and last year we cared for almost 16,000 patients. What you will do as aProcedure Center Manager: Manages Procedure Center and Staff Manages the overall nursing operations of the Procedure Center in accordance with organizational policies, standards of nursing practice, and governmental regulations, providing excellent care for all perioperative patients Establishes systems for care management, including assessments, care planning, and discharge planning Makes necessary changes to procedures and programs to promote practices that are responsive to the perioperative patient's needs In collaboration with Business Manager and other departmental leaders, provides administrative and financial accountability for planning, directing, staffing, coordinating, and controlling the functions and activities of all phases of the Procedure Center Knows and uses best practices information to continually improve operations Works in partnership with the ASC Leadership team to create exceptional operating performance, including leading the development and implementation of state-of-the-science protocols and methods, as well as workflows to support excellent customer service Oversees and is accountable, within scope of management authority, for compliance with appropriate laws, regulations and policy What you will need: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or related field, and current Licensure as an RN in state of MN (Preferred: Master's degree in Nursing or related field, Advanced Certification (CGRN)) 1-3 years management or leadership experience. 2-4 years of procedural or operating room experience. Successful experience with establishing an environment of collaborative patient-centered care for surgical patients.
