Point of Sale Coordinator Location US-MN-Minneapolis ID 2024-26626 Type Regular Full-Time Category Sales/Trade Overview The Point of Sale Coordinator is responsible for supporting the receiving, warehousing, distribution, and overall inventory control of POS materials in a professionally organized manner that supports all sales divisions of the company and our suppliers. Responsibilities Verification and allocation of POS materials (including dealer loaders) Responsible for helping with the preparation of POS materials and dealer loader items for delivery to accounts or sales rep pick-ups. Assist with POS inventory, maintaining up-to-date physical inventory and purging of outdated materials. Receiving, checking-in, and locating POS material; aid the distribution of POS merchandise; maintain POS area of warehouse. Working with sales management and suppliers to set up dealer loader programs and allocation of POS. Assisting in new store sets and existing store resets. Assist with set-up of special events and meeting (i.e. trade show, off-site meetings). Maintain a clean working environment and ensure the warehouse POS department is clean and organized. Other duties, as assigned by the jobholder's supervisor, may also be required. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in related field and/or equivalent training and work experience Experience in logistics, inventory replenishment, merchandising, warehouse or similar industry preferred Basic PC skills using MS Office and other various computer programs including presentation software Verbal/written communication skills, as well as customer service skills Ability to multi-task, work independently and/or within a team, pay attention to detail and meet deadlines Physical Requirements: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to, stand, sit; talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer and telephone Competencies: Accountable for meeting own targets, work is reviewed periodically. Problems encountered will be defined, repetitive, and routine with a solution readily available.
