Job Description University of Minnesota Physiciansisseeking aCertified Nurse Practitionerora Certified Physician Assistantto join ourPulmonaryTransplant practice at the University of Minnesota Medical Center in Minneapolis, MN. Join a team of excellent providers who deliver care for Pre- and Post-Lung Transplant recipients, and enjoy a 4-day work schedule. In This Role, You Will: Coordinate and facilitate the delivery of care to patients within a multidisciplinary framework caring for Pre- and Post-Lung Transplant patients on an inpatient and outpatient basis. Perform physical examinations and preventive health measures. Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests to identify and assess patients' clinical problems and health care needs. Recommend treatment and prescribe medication. Consult with physicians (as needed) and make appropriate referrals for evaluation or treatment. Location: University of Minnesota Medical Center (50%) and the M Health Fairview Clinic and Surgery Center - Minneapolis (50%). Your Schedule: Full-time, 1.0 FTE 10 hour days during a 4-day work week and every 5th weekend We're Looking For a PA or NP Who Is: A graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant or formal Adult Nurse Practitioner training program. Eligible or is certified through NCCPA, ANCC or AANP. Licensed or eligible to acquire a license and prescriptive authority through the MN Board of Medical Practice (PAs) or MN APRN license or eligible to acquire a license and prescriptive authority through MN Board of Nursing (NP's). Able to meet thresholdcriteria/qualificationsfor credentialing and privileges. What Could Set You Apart?
