We are looking for a Maintenance Technician to join our team at Great Lakes Management! This can be a part-time or full-time position. Maintenance Technician Job Details: Hours - Full-time or Part-time Pay Range - \$23 - \$25 / hour Location - Minneapolis, MN - Right next to U of M! Assist outside vendors working on building and/or equipment issues. Provide oversight and emergency response to all campus equipment and systems. Complete inspections as required and assigned. Work with various agencies regarding codes and inspections. Maintenance Technician Responsibilities: * Assist in maintaining all mechanical equipment, emergency systems, building fixtures and groundwork as needed. * Complete all work orders quickly and efficiently. * Report any problems/deficiencies to the Director of Maintenance * Knowledgeable of building codes and regulatory compliance issues. * Interacts positively with all team members in maintaining census by immediately completing apartment turns * Maintain the grounds; trash, sweep, dumpster areas, snowplow, etc * Test the resident security systems as required. * Assist with custodial duties which include but not limited to, trash removal, carpet cleaning, etc. * Perform any maintenance task necessary as directed. Maintenance Technician Qualifications: * Minimum two years\' experience in maintenance, preferably residential property management. * Skills in mechanical, electrical, plumbing, appliances, doors & windows. Working Hours: This position is required to be a part of an on-call rotation every two weeks.
