Position: Inventory | Material Handlers | Stores Attendant (2nd shift)

Team: Inventory Management

Primary Objective of Position:

The Inventory | Material Handlers | Stores Attendant maintains accurate inventory levels, receives and delivers shipments, and safely transports materials and equipment throughout the facility using various types of hand trucks, forklifts or overhead cranes.

Major Areas of Accountability:

  • Uses SAP to perform cycle counting, create pick lists, issue jobs, issue bulk items, return shop production orders, subcontract orders, locate items, and receive items into the company.

  • Receives and delivers physical shipments.

  • Issues materials for shop production orders

  • Safely uses overhead and jib crane by following pre-op inspection checklists, using crane hand signals, correct hoist rings and chains

  • Using overhead cranes, performs straight, manipulated/tipping, specialty and multi crane lifts for all products across all departments.

  • Completes necessary QA/Customer documentation.

  • Lift and move materials using forklift, pallet jack, overhead crane or jib crane.

  • Demonstrates a commitment to Continuous Improvement by identifying opportunities in day to day work.

  • Performs to ISO 9001 Quality Standards and abides to OSHA and EPA regulations.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

  • High School degree or equivalent with a minimum of 1 year warehouse/manufacturing experience.

  • Ability to be certified in overhead and Jib crane operation and forklift operation.

  • Requires basic typing and computer skills, ability to learn SAP.

Physical Requirements:

  • Routinely lifts and moves objects up to 20 lbs.

  • Occasionally lifts and moves objects up to 50 lbs.

  • Routinely ascends/descends ladders and stairs.

  • Occasionally works at heights or on platforms.

  • Occasionally positions self in various works spaces, including low, tight or confined spaces.

  • Routinely remains in a stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods of time.

  • Occasionally uses repetitive motions including the wrists, hands or fingers to operate computers, machinery or tools.

  • Routinely moves from one work station to another to accomplish tasks.

Pay Types

Voluntary weekend overtime.

Saturday is paid at time and a half, Sundays are paid at double time!

Monday - Friday, 3:30 p.m. - 12:00 a.m. ($2.00 shift differential)
