BrightStar Care Healthcare Admin Intern in Minneapolis, Minnesota

We are looking for an intern for our Bloomington territory! Applicants will be enrolled or recently graduated (within the past year) from an accredited college with a degree in HealthCare Administration, Health and Human Services, or similar field. We are happy to provide any necessary paperwork or performance evaluations for credit with your institution! This is a PAID internship! We also are a joint commission accredited company, so you'll have the opportunity to learn more about clinical quality in day-to-day business.  The HealthCare Administration Intern will help with the day-to-day tasks that keep our business running smoothly! The Intern will report to the Branch Manager and work closely with the Customer Care Manager to provide excellent customer service to our caregivers and clients! They will assist our Customer Care Manager in the following tasks: Answering the phones, troubleshooting scheduling issues, providing consistent communication to our clients and staff, uploading and renaming employee and client documents, managing expiring or expired staff credentials, scheduling performance evaluations on the Customer Care Manager's Calendar, assisting with Clinical Quality to make sure all care notes/task lists are completed for every shift, completing project work assigned by the Branch Manager as needed. Additional Tasks as assigned.
