Hiring for a Maintenance Technician to work a DIRECT PLACEMENT role in Saint Paul, MN!

Job Description

The position is responsible for both industrial and facility maintenance tasks involving plumbing, carpentry, snow removal, electrical, light construction, and preventative maintenance/general equipment repair on specified pumps, boilers, HVAC equipment, and generators.

Hard Skills

  • 3-5+ years of manufacturing maintenance experience required.

  • 3-5+ years of experience with pumps and valves, PMs, parts ordering for replacements, servo motors, industrial plumbing systems

  • Ability to communicate (both written and verbal) complex and/or technical operations and procedures in term easily understood by non-technical operators.

  • Computer skills to effectively use maintenance software, communicate through email, and research equipment/spare parts.

  • Ability to work weekends and be on-call. (This is not normal, but in some cases if someone is out unexpectedly, they must be flexible to a call in from time to time or working in another plant during normal shift hours)

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Saint Paul, Minnesota.

Work Environment

The position is at a chemical distribution facility. The individual in this position must be okay working around chemicals, as they follow strict safety guidelines and maintain a safe environment. This position may require the technician to be exposed to heights, so being afraid of heights would disqualify a candidate for the position.

This is a formulator, manufacturer, blender, distributor, and sales agent for thousands of industrial chemicals and reagent grade laboratory chemicals sold to municipalities and businesses throughout the Central United States.

Thousands of water treatment facilities, manufacturers, food and dairy producers, research labs, and many other organizations depend on our client for the chemical products they need. These products range from potassium carbonate to chlorine to FCC grade citrates and phosphates.

Hours: 1st Shift | 6:00am - 2:00pm

62-78k depending experience
