What your 12 hour shift in this role might involve at OC-Minneapolis: The purpose of the Production Operator Level 5 is to support the continuous operation of the Minneapolis facility. This position is responsible for carrying out operation-related tasks as it relates to the successful production of Owens Corning roofing shingles. Here is a brief outline of this role... Setting up raw material along the line Maintaining and troubleshooting the shingle machine Clearing jams Inspecting the quality of finished product Moving finished material using a forklift Maintaining a safe workplace What makes a successful OC-Minneapolis team member: Must haves include... High school diploma or GED and be at least 18 years old. Ability to work independently or in a team atmosphere with minimal direct supervision. Would be terrific if you also had... Experience in manufacturing, but not required. Motivation to learn and advance as an Owens Corning employee.
